1er. DAKAR AS AN ADVENTURER RATHER THAN AS A PILOT:
Having driven for Trial, Speed in circuits, Off Road and Raids, and after having done the Dakar 2 times on a motorcycle and 5 by car, this will be his first Dakar in the prevailing concept that will focus primarily on exploring the more adventurous of the event, prior to the pure competition.
Albert Bosch is not only a pilot, he is a multi adventurer who practice extreme sports as diverse as mountaineering, the ultra marathons, or other specialties where the endurance and adventure are a central component. Recently, he has participated in ultra marathons running through the desert of Sahara (Marathon des Sables), or in the Amazon jungle (Jungle Marathon). And just last May he summited Mt.Everest, as the climax of their project '7 Summits', which consisted of climbing the highest mountains on each continent.
In this participation, rather than seek competition and have a car with a lot of horsepower, Albert Bosch focus a very adventurous Dakar, in a mode of the hardest and most uncertain of this legendary event. No wonder, in the 34-year history of Dakar, only two drivers managed to finish with a car of only two wheel drive and no copilot.
Albert will have an opportunity to implement all learning acquired in both stages of a solo motorcycle rider, driving cars, and extreme adventurer in many other disciplines which are very committed.
